The Eating with Intent™ Nutritional Coaching and Food Plan, customized by a Registered Dietitian, helps you gradually lose weight while continuing to feel satisfied by eating the foods you really enjoy.
How Eating with Intent™ Works: Following the steps outlined in our 26 page workbook, you and your Nutritional Coach will begin by assessing your state of readiness for change—with particular focus on your motivations for losing weight. Once your reasons are affirmed and your concerns addressed to your satisfaction, you will establish a set of achievable, healthful goals.
Your Nutritional Coach will closely supervise your program, with assistance and guidance from a Nutritional Counselor. Our RD has developed personalized Eating With Intent™ food plans that are just right for you, and are based on the cutting edge Volumetrics program, developed through research over the last twelve years at Pennsylvania State University. The concept behind Volumetrics is that the key to weight management lies in making delicious food choices that help you feel full while consuming fewer calories.

Patty McLucas’ career as a Wellness Coach began with personal training in the home in 1992. She received her personal training certification through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and earned a Sports Nutrition Consultant Certification at College of San Mateo Community Education. Patty is the co-founder of Breathing Room wellness center in San Mateo and Bayfront Fitnessin Menlo Park. She brings clients a lifetime of interest in fitness and nutrition,and six years of meditation and mindfulness experience in the vipassana and advaita traditions. She teaches meditation classes at Insight Meditation Center in Redwood City and other Bay Area locations.
